Alès, Sub-prefecture of Gard and first factory site of Languedoc Roussillon, offer to the companies: - richness of its fabric of subcontractors (electronic component, data processing, mechanics of precision), - capacities in formation and R & D with l'Ecole des Mines d'Alès Alès (3 research centers), the INRA-CNRS, - financial assistances suitable for the area of Alès (FIBA, European Community, P.A.T., etc...). The Community of Agglomeration of Grand Alès Alès was classified 3rd community of less than 80 000 inhabitants of France for his economic dynamism in 2002 (source : L'Entreprise).
